The Public Interest Technology Colloquium is brought to you by the Society Policy Engineering Collective bringing together global thought leaders who are shaping the emergent transdisciplinary field. PIT is working toward community empowerment with a focus on desirable stakeholder needs and values, not just technical feasibility and economic viability. The discussion is about building a sustainability humanity through advanced technological processes and tools that are designed and implemented using inclusive and consultative practices. We begin with societal challenges and acknowledge citizens as experts of their own lived experience, we support the creation of appropriate infrastructure and policies through listening and deliberation and apply science and engineering for the benefit of humankind.
